Come celebrate the New Year with a grand concert in the Rhythmic Hall when American jazz star Cécile McLorin Salvant visits Aarhus together with the DR Big Band, conducted by chief conductor Miho Hazama.
The evening offers a rich mix of jazz classics from The Great American Songbook and popular interpretations of songs by Sting, Kate Bush, Stevie Wonder and others – all performed to the highest standard. Behind the piano is McLorin's regular partner Sullivan Fortner, while Miho Hazama has arranged the musical framework for the evening.

McLorin Salvant is recognised as one of the leading jazz vocalists of her generation and has already won three Grammy Awards and numerous nominations. She has often been compared to legends such as Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan and Billie Holiday.
