Borum Eshøj
North west from Århus on a windy hill lies the grave mound "Borum Eshøj". Today only a smaller part is left but it used to be one of the largest bronze age barrows in Denmark. On the Eshøj tableland which is 4 square kilometres large, a great burial place from the bronze- and iron age was once placed including 40 grave mounds.

A part of them is still visible but strongly ploughed down. "Borum Eshøj" was digged out in 1875 containing three oak tree cists with well-preserved bodies of two men and a woman.
