Market days in Ingerslevs Boulevard
take place every Wednesday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. all year. The market is one of the biggest and most vibrant in Denmark, and in combination with a large selection of vegetables, fruit and flowers, you can also find meat, eggs, fish, bread, and some handicraft products.
Some of the market stalls, several of them ecological, sell homegrown produce.
Ingerslevs Boulevard is one of the markets where you each year can find the first of the asparagus, new potatoes from the island Samsø, and fresh Danish strawberries.
Shopping done, there is also the opportunity to sit down with a freshly brewed cup of coffee and a bread roll, while you watch the seasonal flowers and the crowd of people.
