How to get to Aarhus

By planeThere are two airports located near Aarhus. Both with air service and charter flights to and from popular holiday destinations.
Aarhus Airport Aarhus Airport is located 45 minutes away (40 km north of the city). Buses from the airport depart outside the main entrance 20 minutes after every plane arrival.
Billund Airport Billund Airport is located a 90-minute busride away from Aarhus. Ticket for the airport bus can be bourght on the bus. Please visit BillundAirport.dk for further information.

By ferry
Aarhus harbour has ferry connections to Sealand with Mols-Linien. From Scandinavian countries you can take the ferry to Frederikshavn, Grenaa and Hirtshals and from there you can get to Aarhus by car, bus or train.

By car, bus or train

DSB Trains run every hour from Aarhus to Copenhagen and main cities in Denmark. The train station is situated in the city center.
Deutsche Bahn You can travel to Aarhus from Hamburg in just 4,5 hours and from Berlin in just 6,5 hours.
