By the water
Along the Århus coastline there are some 20 km of bathing beaches, stretching from Norsminde Fjord, which lies to the south, up to Studstrup to the north.
 BeachesAlong the woods to the north and south of the city are beaches typical of the Jutland east coast - idyllically situated close to woodlands and built-up areas, easily accessible with excellent parking and with calm waters perfect for families with children.  Marinas are popular areas.  Angling in the bay, in rivers, streams and lakes as well as put-and-take.
