From May you can use any one of the 250 city bikes in Århus free of charge 24 hours a day. You can find them dotted around the city in the 30 specially allocated bicycle stands.

How to borrow a bike
Each bicycle has a coin slot (just like shopping trolleys in Danish supermarkets). Insert a 20-kroner coin in the slot and press the “key” into the other slot to unlock the lock and release the bike from the bicycle stand. You get your 20-kroner piece back again when you press the “key” back into the slot at any bicycle stand.
