Walking round the Årslev Engsø lake you can see the frogs leaping and hear them croaking. You may catch toads in the lake, or climb one of the bird-watching towers and watch the many birds nesting in the reeds.

It is a pleasure to wander through the five small greenhouses, which al have different climates
You´ll find fish, an eagle and a single parrot. The greenhouse grows orangetrees and coffeetrees, cinnamon and cardamombushes. Located next to The Old Town, a joint visit can easily be done. (closed at the moment)

Take a break and enjoy your food at Ørnereden. This area is situated in the woods south of Aarhus, with a covered space with tables and benches where you and your family can sit down and enjoy your own food. And there is lots of space for playing and for ball games while Mum and Dad finish their meal.
