Not many people know it, or would even believe it if they were told, but it is true: the seventh best beach in the world is situated in Aarhus! Come and see the beach that beat the Paris Plage in France and the Slatni Rat in Croatia.

Coba Cabana and Paris Plage – haven’t got it! Come to Aarhus instead and visit the world’s seventh best beach.  Aarhus can now boast about having one of the very best beaches in the world. The Canadian newspaper The Globe and Mail has elected the ten best beaches in the world, and the Åkrogen beach in the northern part of Aarhus made an impressive seventh place, only surpassed – in a European connection – by the Lido in Venice, Italy, and, by the way, ahead of otherwise famous beaches such as the Slatni Rat in Croatia and the Paris Plage in France. The Coba Cabana in Brazil is in fact not even on the list! The beach at Åkrogen is especially the place to go if you are into beach sports and love to surf, but “regular” beach boys and girls will definitely also truly appreciate this beach. |
