Aarhus is at heart Denmark’s youngest city - because roughly one in five of its inhabitants is a student at one of the city’s 25 educational and research institutions, giving the city a young and exciting vibrancy of its very own.

The ‘Vadestedet’ by the Aarhus river is a very popular place and you can always find huge numbers of students there frequenting the many cafés and restaurants which abound there.
