Accommodation - sleep well

If you are visiting Aarhus and plan to stay here for more than one day, there are plenty of opportunities – and you do not need to know someone who has a bed to spare! Aarhus has accommodation in all shades and price ranges: from hiking shelters to hotels.

One of the Municipality of Aarhus' 10 hiking sheltersWhen it comes to accommodation in Aarhus, there are lots of opportunities, no matter how you wish to stay: cheap or expensively, in a quiet or a lively environment, in a rural or central location.

If you want cheap accommodation, you could, for example, choose to stay at Aarhus Camping in the north of Aarhus; at Ajstrup Strand Camping at the Ajstrup Strand beach; at DCU-Camping Blommehaven in Højbjerg; or at Saksild Strand Camping at the Saksild Strand beach.

You could also choose the Danhostel Århus Vandrerhjem hostel in Risskov, or the youth hostel City Sleep-In in the city centre.

If you are a true lover of nature you could also sleep in one of the Municipality of Aarhus’ 10 hiking shelters.

Private accommodation is yet another option. To get some more information on this, please visit the VisitAarhus Welcome Centre at Banegårdspladsen next to the train station.

If you want your accommodation to be a bit more exclusive, you could choose one of the city’s many hotels, inns, or bed & breakfasts.
