The shopping trip of the day will include ceramics, jewellery, glassware and organic clothing – all ”made in Århus”.
Start out with a flash LYNbreakfast at the LYNfabrikken.

The LYNfabrikken combines a shop, café and creative workshop for 16 Århus students of architecture, furniture art, ceramics, jewellery design, and fashion design.
Visitors can speak with the designers, buy their art, and enjoy organic food and the sun on the open roof patio.
Then it’s on to the cobblestone lanes in the 'Latin Quarter' where small design shops are packed-in tightly together.

From silk dresses to beautiful glass design. At Bulow Duus glass blowers you can watch Mette Bülow Duus at work in her unique workshop and experience the creation of beautiful glassware objects.
Organic dresses, retro-style baby clothing, and exclusive leather bags. The Badstuegade 24 shop is a glorious hotchpotch of the collections by the three tailors Anja Dalby, Tina Krogsgaard and Birgitta Sonn.
Shopping requires a lot of refreshment; which of course you can get for example in the shape of a healthy and delicious juice or smoothie from the Juice Stop. How about a ”sky-blue” with strawberries, raspberries, kiwi, elder flower and orange juice.
Following this vitamin shot the shopping trip continues on to the colourful Bloomers shop. At Bloomers, vintage dresses and stilettos mix in with colourful and fancy tops, and some of the clothes have been sewn there in the shop by one of its two owners.
Then it is time to put on the newly-acquired creations and go out for a night on the town.
You could start with a cocktail at the Bartels cocktail-bar where they use fresh fruit and ice for their lavish drinks. Try, for example, a Strawberry Daiquiri with fresh strawberries and strawberry sherbet. A dessert in its own right.

When it gets too crowded at the bar in Bartels, it will be worth your while to drop by the Globen Flakket café and listen to live music from local musicians. There is live music on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 pm
