Having satisfied your stomach, it is time to feast your eyes. Stroll along the river to Århus´ largest and newest art museum, the ARoS Aarhus Kunstmuseum, which opened in 2004.

From modern art to a look back upon the lives of women throughout several centuries. The Women's Museum in Denmark is a national museum devoted entirely to exploring, building collections, and to spreading knowledge about the lives of women. The museum’s permanent exhibition provides a broad perspective on the lives of women from the beginning of civilization up to the present day.

When it is time to rest your feet and get a cup of coffee, the museum’s small café is well worth a visit.
While enjoying an organic lunch, or a piece of home-made cake, you can let your gaze wander around the room to take in the showcases and the walls which provide a cosy atmosphere with a small display of the museum’s domestic appliances, jewellery, hair care appliances, and items from living room-culture.

At the end of the day, when you need a relaxing drink, you can retreat to the library at Hotel Ritz before settling down to dinner at Restaurant René on the ground floor. Decorated in a tasteful 1930´s style and renowned for its great kitchen you are guaranteed a fitting closure to the day.
