At the opposite end of town, beyond the Cathedral, lies the ‘Latin Quarter’ – Århus’ oldest quarter.

The Latin Quarter in Aarhus The streets have historical names such as Klostergade (Convent St), Volden (The Rampart) and Borggade (Castle St) – and in the centre of the quarter lies the Pustervig Torv square as a small and cosy oasis, perfect for a break.

The Barberen is a real old fashioned gentlemen's hairdresser where they shave the face and trim the back of the neck while the customer enjoys a cognac and a good cigar.
