 Moesgård Museum
Here, visitors can experience exhibitions of the Grauballe man – a 2000 year old, completely preserved, peat bog corpse, and the large area with spoils of war from the Iron Age found in the Illerup river valley. 2 special exhibitions: Ötzi - the mummy from the Alps and One World - A Thousand Stories.
 The Steno Museum
Explore the fascinating history of the natural sciences and medicine. Experience the herb garden with more than 350 herbs from the history of medicine, or enjoy a starry performance in the planetarium. For children, and others of an enquiring bent, there are experiments and exhibitions with all sorts of things they can try for themselves.
 The Occupation Museum The museum displays both peaceful and dramatic events in Århus during the German occupation from 1940 to 1945. Everyday-life, restrictions and humour during the occupation, as well as German military equipment, allied, Nazi and Danish propaganda, and Nazi terror against the civilian population.

Århus City Museum In 2008 the city’s new impressive exhibition house on the riverbank is the home of a large number of special exhibitions aimed at both children and adults.
