Youth Sailing World Championship in Århus
500 young sailors from 60 nations will be competing for the world championship in the Bay of Århus in June 2008. The championship is for sailors under 19, who will compete in seven classes.
The competitions will take place on the waters of the Bay of Århus, and the large number of boats will have shore berths on the area belonging to the Århus Sejlklub in the Århus Yachting Harbour.
Århus has been awarded the hosting of the Youth Sailing ISAF World Championship by the international sailing organisation ISAF.
