The Aarhus Festival is a thematic event and the theme of the year determines the artistic programme. The programme encompasses various forms of art such as dance, theatre, exhibitions, opera, sports, children's entertainment and a varied offering of music.
For 10 days every year in August - September the streets and alleys, clubs, stages, galleries and museums of Aarhus are teeming with entertainment events.
The 2010 Aarhus Festival theme is NEIGHBOURS!
The Aarhus Festival board has decided that the theme of the 2010 Festival is Neighbours. The inspiration for this theme was drawn from the necessity of making other people a part of your world.
